It is especially suitable for machining parts of automobile brake pads, wheel drums, clutch discs, flywheel housings and other components. This vertical CNC lathe is mainly used for machining large and heavy workpieces with a large diameter and short length, or workpieces that are difficult to clamp on a horizontal lathe. If the turning radius of the workpiece is sufficient, the use of a horizontal lathe may adversely affect the machining accuracy due to the weight of the workpiece itself. In this case, using a vertical lathe can help solve these problems. 


Main structural features:

1. This machine adopts single-column vertical guide structure, the column, base and sliding bearing are made of high-grade gray cast iron using sand casting technology and undergo heat treatment. Reasonable design and perfect processing and assembly technology ensure the long-term stability of the machine and the accuracy.

2. The main spindle of the machine uses a large-torque wide-band motor drive, which can work at low speed with large torque for powerful cutting, and at high speed for rough or fine processing.

3. The main spindle of the machine uses high-precision double row cylindrical roller bearings, combined with double-way angular contact ball bearings to transmit longitudinal forces, and is also equipped with double row cylindrical roller bearings. This configuration has maximum bearing capacity, can withstand large cutting and feeding forces, has high radial rigidity and axial rigidity, and has high rotational accuracy.

4. The X and Z axis servo motors directly drive the precision ball screws through flexible couplings, which can minimize the backlash and achieve high positioning accuracy. The Z axis has a balancing block to compensate for the weight, making the structure simple and reliable, and the failure rate is minimal. The X and Z axes use Chinese high-precision ball screws and special bearings for them, which meet the requirements of rigidity and high cutting precision. The design of the support screw rods is pre-stressed, which greatly reduces the influence of thermal deformation on the accuracy during long-term use of the machine.

5. The X and Z axes are equipped with advanced centralized automatic lubrication systems with time intervals to ensure stable operation.

6. The tool holder can be electric or turret-type, ensuring high precision and efficiency.
