The central air supply structure is adopted for the spindle of the GMB 3018 horizontal milling machining center. After removing the tool from the spindle, the cone inside the spindle is quickly cleared of dust and debris by high air pressure. This ensures the safety and reliability of the GMB3018, which has a fully enclosed protection structure. The automatic central lubrication system operates according to schedule and volume, ensuring stable and reliable operation. The nitrogen balancing of the Z-axis makes the spindle move smoother when moving up or down. The design of the sliding support carriage improves the rigidity of the whole machine further. The working surface of the table has a proportion of 1:1.5, which is best suited for processing molding dies.
In the use of C3 class roller screw with zero clearance and high rigidity, a pre-tension support is fixed at each end. Strong structural rigidity, good thermal stability and high precision ensure the excellent running stability of the machine. The XYZ linear guideway adopts high-precision P-class (high precision) linear guideway from Taiwan HIWIN, which ensures the moving speed of the whole machine, its rigidity and accuracy. The high-precision angular contact ball bearings imported from Japan are adopted: 4 pairs on the X/Y axis and 3 pairs on the Z/2 axis, which greatly improves the processing stability. The three-axis X/Y/Z guideway adopts a complete support system design to provide full support at any position within the working stroke without any free float or wobble, which ensures the cutting stability, guideway accuracy and machine durability.
